Different take on WW2, which I respect, but the ending was just not there

When an act of decency is attempted in the midst of a colossal indecency (war) things go sideways and the result is a harsh reminder of the tragedies that come with unfettered conflict. Keith Gordon impresses with solid writing and directorial talent.

Decent early 90s war movie, anything before Saving Private Ryan is not quite as hard hitting as that movie really changed the way war is portrayed but this just passable to watch. Ethan Hawke is great John McGinley is as well.
