I’ve been following billy as an auditor over the past couple of years and not once have I heard him promote this movie or go o about his past. He has turned his life around and seems a relaxed and respectable guy. He also battled and defeated cancer. Great film, reminds me of midnight express
The movie is a nice biopic but things were changed and made Billy look gay. His relationship with a ladyboy was fictional and he only was friends with the guy. Also the whole movie is very homoerotic in its atmosphere. I think the director has some unresolved preferences
Prison life. Not pretty. Movie well done: biofidelic .
was okay starting out but like people have said, a little too homo for some including my self to enjoy this fully
Read the book first. Way more harrowing. Know what he really went through. Good film but felt like a light version of actual events and I don’t recall it bothering with a love interest.
If you enjoyed the story on Billy Moore you can see him still wondering round the UK on his youtube channel helping those on the streets with drug addictions trying to help others. Joe Cole did an amazing job playing the role.
