- gnrrainJanuary 10, 2026Honestly this was better than I anticipated and if the pacing issues that it suffers from were cleaned and tightened up I think I would give it 3.5. As is though, it really feels like it's dragging you through muddy water sometimes. It bogs itself down with scenes that carry on too long or have lengthy idle shots. I think the practical effects were very effective and the excessiveness of the blood worked well with what the director was going for. However, the CGI shows the budget limitations very quickly. The movie could have gained another half star had it stuck with only practical throughout. Story was decent and I think it's definitely worth a watch of you have the patience to sit through it.
