But overall, it's too exaggerated, the dialogue is mostly clumsy, and it's not Stone's best work. Those interested in history will get a lot out of this, but otherwise, movie lovers won't.
- cornbredxJuly 23, 2026I found this movie to be incredibly boring. I couldn't watch it for very long so I only made it half way through. The best I can describe my feelings is that the movie mostly focuses on telling you things. A lot. A lot of talking, but it feels shallow and no work was done to build upon the characters so you have any feelings about them. There are CG shots of large armies, but the battle scenes feel hallow and dull to me. The lead up to the battle being completely void of build up. I assume the movie wants you to care later. I just couldn't get invested in any of it and if there was a good performance I probably missed it because I was bored.
