That’s not necessarily a bad thing. This series exists firmly in the comfort-watch category: wholesome misunderstandings, gentle romantic friction, and a tidy emotional resolution waiting patiently at the end. It’s the cinematic equivalent of a well-worn jumper — familiar, predictable, and oddly reassuring. For me, a definite plus is Lacey Chabert. She’s reliably warm and likeable, and she carries this kind of material with ease. That said, she’s become such a staple of the Hallmark ecosystem that seeing her here feels less like a special treat and more like expected casting at this point. There’s nothing offensive, nothing particularly memorable, and nothing that will linger once the credits roll.
