- Kyle Bianchi1d agoWhen the trailer for it first came out, I admit that I had 0 interest. I assumed it was a shlocky remake of the OG film, which itself isn't a masterpiece or anything, but I downloaded it to give it a go and I'm glad I did. Genuinely a pretty great movie. Solid 8 outta 10. No movie will ever make me dislike Jack Black.
- The LeviathanJanuary 4, 2026Sooooo... It's movie about a group of people who go to remake anaconda that's based on anaconda. they meet other people remaking the movie anaconda (who are probably the people making this move you're watching) and then successfully publish their movie anaconda, for it to be taken down but they are offering to make a new movie of anaconda at the end!! Beautiful
- AaronJanuary 4, 2026Anaconda (2025) answers the age-old question: “What if a snake was really big… and everyone made the worst decisions possible?” The plot slithers in confidently: a group of people enter a jungle with zero survival instincts, one GPS that stops working immediately, and the bold belief that this time the giant snake won’t notice them. Spoiler: the snake notices. 👀🐍 The anaconda itself deserves top billing. This serpent is so large it could have its own postcode. At one point, it appears, disappears, reappears, and somehow sneaks up on people while being the size of a bus. Physics took one look at this movie and quietly left the cinema. Dialogue highlights include: “Did you hear that?” (Yes. It’s always the snake.) “It’s just an animal.” (Narrator voice: It was not just an animal.) Someone whispering… in a jungle… while running. Incredible. The CGI ranges from “wow, that’s terrifying” to “is that snake buffering?” but honestly, that’s part of the charm. You don’t watch Anaconda (2025) for realism—you watch it for the pure joy of yelling “WHY ARE YOU GOING BACK IN THERE?!” at the screen. Final Verdict: Ridiculous. Loud. Over-the-top. Completely aware of what it is. Perfect for a popcorn night where logic is optional and snakes are aggressively dramatic. 🐍 Would I recommend it? Yes—especially if you enjoy creature features that wrap nonsense, nostalgia, and chaos into one very long, very hungry snake.
- Mike ShulmanDecember 30, 2025This is such a silly, stupid, unecessary movie... and I really liked it. Honestly the laughs are hit or miss, nothing anyone does makes sense, and the CGI is purposely awful but everyone making it seems to be having a blast with it. Just turn your brain off and enjoy it for 90 minutes. It's definitely in the so bad it's good realm and Anaconda knows it... yay yay
- Hadi Koleilat6d agoAnaconda (2025) is a fun, self-aware creature feature that blends jungle thrills with comedy. Jennifer Kaytin Robinson directs a lively cast led by Paul Rudd and Jack Black, whose chemistry keeps things entertaining even when the script gets uneven. The film shines in its suspenseful jungle moments and playful tone, though some jokes overstay their welcome and the CGI isn’t always consistent. Overall, it’s an easy, enjoyable watch that doesn’t take itself too seriously—solidly.
- WermaidMay 25, 2026This is a silly little movie with a silly (not so) little cast. Nothing about this movie is serious. If you want a silly little movie with some silly little dialogs and silly little effects (which made me jump a few times), then this is perfect. BUT should you want to learn about the anaconda or want a deep analysis of how modern society destroys the Amazon, go and watch a documentary. My theory? Most bad reviews are based on bad media literacy and not bad movies.
- NiztradamusJanuary 28, 2026This movie is stupid, really fucking stupid but the funny kind of stupid. I had quite a few chuckles and it has that quality to it, like the script was written while smoking a lot of weed. It's not a great movie but I'd argue it's above average quality. It is good, not great but good. If you like the typical Jack Black humor you will enjoy your time with this one.
