A star quarterback gets knocked out of the game and an unknown third stringer is called in to replace him. The unknown gives a stunning performance and forces the aging coach to reevaluate his game plans and life. A new co-owner/president adds to the pressure of winning. The new owner must prove herself in a male dominated world.
Way underrated movie and Pacino's halftime speech will always hit home for me. one of the very few movies ive ever given 5/5.
It's a classic football movie from the mid-90s where nobody cared about the human body destruction showing up on screen! What makes it even better is you have Al Pacino with Jamie Foxx with Dennis Quaid with the football legend Jim Brown himself all on screen also with other football legends and it's just a great movie at almost 3 hours!
Over hyped with big named actors playing the same old sleepy plot of American football..... So sad
One if Pacinos best performances great film full of good actors and a great action
