Unlikeable characters being extremely hot. I couldn’t decide if i liked it or hated it.

ngl, i'd fuck Sydney Sweeney just to get to Glen Powell 😍🤣😂 What a good, fun movie; critics are dumb. And thank fuck for an R rating... the basic B, eyeroll story needed it, definitely a bonus that the leads have so much chemistry and charisma. Everyone else is mostly fine. Looking at you, Gata 🤬 Could have used a Henry Golding in the role of Jonathan to ramp up the stakes for GP, and also have another solid actor.

Perfect movie! Every moment felt so natural, yet in funny and cliche way! You know what, I blame THE MUSIC for leaving this review beacuse it is SOO freaking catchy!

It is a classic romantic and a sexy comedy movie. Recommend it.

As an Australian I am embarrassed by this movie. I can't begin to tell you how excruciating this movie was to watch. I will watch anything with Glen Powell and he tried very hard to carry this movie and it still didn't help. The chemistry was off, the casting was strange, the jokes were not funny AT ALL! I was waiting for the jokes and they never came. The only cute thing about this besides Glen Powell was the koala.

I'm baffled by the low rating of this movie... on IMDb most negative reviews talk about "another white rich people rom com"... WTF? Since when being white or having money is a sin? I honestly loved the movie... I watched it with my mom and we both laugh our asses off... Is it perfect? Hell, no... it has some silly scenes, but it's a very fun and entertaining movie, and, well... Sidney is always a pleasure for the eyes to see... ;) Stop being such bitter woke racist social justice morons and enjoy movies without caring about the skin color of the actors!

Cute, funny, great chemistry, predictable but fun.

Way better than expected. Both leads are more than just a couple of pretty faces and can actually act! Good chemistry between them made for a decent rom com. I was surprised!

Just like one of those romantic christmas movies - placeholder dialogue with poor supporting actors, sprinkled in with Mr. Bean slapstick. It has a few good moments with the lead actors, but they are too few. Could have been so much more with those two leads; I expected it to be at least half as good as Hit man, but it was nowhere near that.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ — Anyone But You — Enemies, misunderstandings, and inevitable sparks Anyone But You is a modern rom-com that knows exactly what it’s doing and doesn’t pretend otherwise. A great first date goes sideways thanks to a single overheard comment taken wildly out of context, and from there the film leans hard into one of the genre’s most reliable engines: forced proximity. When the two leads are thrown back together under circumstances that make avoidance impossible, irritation slowly gives way to chemistry, and chemistry to something harder to deny. There’s something very American — and very Hallmark-adjacent — about the structure, but the difference is polish. This isn’t background comfort viewing; it’s the kind of film you actually want to watch all the way through, just to see how the mess untangles itself. The production value, pacing, and sharpness of the dialogue lift it well above made-for-TV romance, even when it’s knowingly playing with familiar beats. The real win here is the pairing of Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell. They’re both operating at the top of their games, and Powell in particular gets to stretch a little — trading in the usual cocky jock energy for something warmer and more genuinely decent. Their chemistry does most of the heavy lifting, and thankfully, it holds. I’ve only watched it once so far, but I’ve already lined up a second viewing with a friend — always a good sign for a rom-com. It’s breezy, funny, predictable in the ways you want, and satisfying in the ways that matter. 🍾 Pairing: A chilled prosecco or a cheeky cocktail — something light, a little fizzy, and easy to go back for another round, just like the movie.

Seeing Sydney look half lib in this is very funny seeing her makeup is full MAGA now but whatever. She is no longer the reason I'm here it's Glen cause Glen is awesome and he does so good. It's good but in a bad way idk how to describe it. Unwritten bangs

❤️‍🩹 They said “I hate you”, but their cheekbones said otherwise. Proof that if you argue long enough, it becomes foreplay. Anyone But You is much better than you’d expect from a modern rom-com. It checks all the boxes, balancing humor, chemistry and heart. I went in expecting a background movie to half-watch while doomscrolling on my phone, but instead it grabbed me by the serotonin receptors and refused to let go. Apparently, when two ridiculously attractive people actually act, rom-coms can still work. Their dynamic is genuinely adorable, the chemistry feels effortless and the casting couldn’t have been better. Who knew? Honestly, I came for the pretty faces and stayed for the chaotic charm.

Meet cute, misunderstanding, mutual obligation involvement, inability to talk through issues. Pretty standard. Powell earned his stripes.

The song is stuck in my head now. Glenn carries the movie hard since nobody else can act. Very cliche flick but fun enough for a romantic evening.
