- macaronz7d agoMedia Circus, Brutal Society, and a Wild Narrative Ride Aruvi is an ambitious, provocative social drama that tackles a multitude of contemporary societal ills with biting satire. The film’s greatest triumph lies in its unflinching critique of how society and the media dehumanizes vulnerable individuals, particularly single women, often treating them worse than animals. I wasn't a huge fan of the filmmaking style, especially in the first half. The pacing was way too fast, which made it hard to really build an emotional connection with the story right away. That said, the second half is much better and the satire hits hard.
