- macaronzJuly 1, 2026There isn't a whole lot of comedy here, but at least it didn't feel forced. It’s mostly situational comedy that hits the mark in a few scenes but falls flat in others. The build up drags significantly, making for a weak first half, as the actual story only kicks into gear during the second half. Still, as a one-time watch, it’s not a bad movie. The background music is good, and I actually liked the acting and how the film was presented. After watching Basil's recent movies, I expected a bit more, so this felt a little average for me.
