- Mister Arn4d ago“The Bang Bang Kid” is a spaghetti western that is supposed to be a comedy. The problem is, it simply isn’t funny. It has a ridiculous premise and follows it all the way through: a ruthless man controls an Old West town with the help of a hired killer, until the hero arrives with a robot gunfighter to challenge him. The opening is mostly narration designed to show us what a badass the gunfighter is, but after that, the story never really comes together. Nothing about the movie worked; it’s “Blazing Saddles” done badly.
