I knew the TV series long before I ever saw the movie, so when they randomly aired it one evening, of course I had to watch.
And honestly, it has that exact “TV spin‑off energy” you’d expect, familiar faces, familiar vibe, just stretched into a feature length format.
It’s perfectly watchable, a bit clunky in places, but there’s a certain charm in seeing the series’ world blown up to movie size.
Not amazing, not terrible, just a solid extension of something I already liked.
A comfortable, easy evening watch that fits right in with the nostalgia of catching it on TV.
If you're an Adam West, Burt Ward Batman fan then this is 5 stars all the way. If you don't know who they are then start with the 1966 TV show before you waste your time.....then go from there.
