Where to Watch Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
- Zokkiie7d agoThis was never going to escape Chadwick Boseman's death completely, and the movie being brought down a bit by his absence was inevitable. I think they handled it pretty well, though, and the emotional side works without simply trying to replace T'Challa. Letitia Wright does what she can as Shuri and plays the role well, but she's filling almost impossible shoes. The cast is strong overall, and Wakanda still looks fantastic. Namor is decent, although I would've preferred the original Atlantis story. Tenoch Huerta is good in the role, and Ironheart is a solid addition with Dominique Thorne doing a great job. The action and visuals are still a highlight, but the movie is too long, a little uneven, and some of the side characters feel underused. Still, considering the circumstances, this is a pretty solid MCU sequel.
- HakihikoMarch 25, 2026Ambitious, Respectful, Yet Struggling with Rhythm "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" carries a more somber and reflective tone than its predecessor, aiming to balance spectacle with emotional resonance. The film often feels sincere in its intentions, creating moments of grandeur and sensitivity, even if the overall experience struggles to maintain consistent momentum. The performances are committed and heartfelt, with the cast bringing dignity and intensity that help ground the story's heavier atmosphere. Character dynamics remain engaging, and there is a clear effort to convey emotional weight through restrained and focused acting. Visually, the film is undeniably beautiful. Expansive environments, detailed production design, and elegant action sequences give it a strong cinematic presence. The soundtrack is particularly effective, enhancing both the emotional beats and the sense of scale with a memorable and well-crafted musical identity. The script attempts to juggle multiple themes and character arcs, which occasionally affects the pacing. Some scenes feel stretched while others move too quickly, creating a rhythm that can feel uneven. Dialogue also varies in strength, with certain lines lacking the impact needed to fully support the film's dramatic ambitions. Because of this imbalance, the narrative sometimes loses focus, making it harder for the film to sustain the powerful tone it clearly aims for. Even so, its visual artistry and strong musical direction leave a lasting impression. While not always cohesive, it remains a respectful and ambitious continuation that offers moments of genuine beauty and emotional sincerity.
- thomasrogers753November 28, 2025MCU Rewatch 36: This movie does a great job in my opinion dealing with unexpected loss of the talented Chadwick Boseman, Letita Wright does a great job carrying the mantel The only problem I have with this film is at times the CGI is way to heavily depended on and to me I didn’t really click with Namor as a character that much I would say this is definitely a quality sequel and I’m excited for Black Panther 3
