Where to Watch Bubba the Redneck Werewolf
- jackmeatJuly 13, 2025My quick rating - 5.2/10. That is some good, campy fun right there. Bubba is your typical redneck who happens to also be a bit on the weak side. When he loses his lady to one of the tough guys in town, he makes a deal with the devil (played so well by Mitch Hyman) and asks for a slew of traits to be applied to him. This results in him being a werewolf. The comedy in this one is so tongue-in-cheek, it is great. The issue is that a lot of the jokes fall flat on their face, as often as they hit. The gore in this one is very comic book-like like and this whole movie just screamed out Troma. It has that feel to it, which is always a good thing. If you are a fan of either of those things, you will be pleasantly surprised. If you don't like b-budget stuff like this that has no interest in being serious, you'll probably miss the fun of it.
