The movie has a sleazy sort of pedophile feel to it. That being said, it's a very creepy movie that preys on childhood fears of strangers and clowns. It sort of feels like a weird and more disturbing goosebumps tale. As a kid I saw this and it always stuck with me and watching it now it still has the same effect but with added reasons.
