Where to Watch Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion I - Initiation
- elat31June 28, 2026It wasn't bad, but in order to turn 25 episodes into a shorter movie, much of the subplot that gave depth to the personality and motives of the main character and co-protagonists had to be chopped off or even completely changed from the original. This movie is not a good introduction to the story of the anime, it's better to watch it after the regular anime, if at all. On another note, it being a movie makes it more dynamic and has somewhat better momentum by eliminating the pauses between episodes and switching the timing of certain important scenes but, sadly, this reduces much of the more tragic aspects of the plot, turning it a bit bland and the characters less relatable.
