Really good movie, genuinely enjoyed watching it!
It’s kind of insane the parallels between the real life drama behind the scenes of this film, and the story within the movie itself.
Setting aside the real life David and Goliath story that is ketchup entertainment’ acquiring this movie is an honestly hilarious movie. I went with a group of friends and we were genuinely laughing for a decent chunk of the film. There’s some terrific slapstick, great non sequitur’s, modern commentary, and excellent visual gags wrapped up in a surprisingly heartfelt story. If I’m being picky, there’s definitely some issues with 3D model rigging with some of the cartoon characters and pacing issues in the final stretch. They probably could’ve shaved down the ending and honestly, the animation most of the time is fairly good. Was nice to see some hand animated segments too! (Not counting the archival stuff)
Easily the best live action-animated hybrid since who framed Roger Rabbit and a superb celebration of the legacy of Looney Toons.
It's certainly silly, but this movie also has some real heart. Come for the laughs and stay for all the Looney Tunes references. What WB tried to do was a shame and I'm so glad it got released with another distributor.
That was pretty damn entertaining. I am glad it didn't end up getting buried forever!
Watched this in Albuquerque on Saturday morning. Perfection. I did, however, find myself craving a Frontier sweetroll.

I have not seen cartoons interact with the real world this well since Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
That is the real achievement here.
The plot?
Nonsense.
The storylines?
Also nonsense.
But none of that really matters because the movie is constantly finding ways to turn the Looney Tunes characters loose inside the live-action world.
A little gag here.
A ridiculous ACME contraption there.
A classic cartoon setup suddenly happening right beside the human characters.
They understood that these little critters do not need some complicated reinvention.
Just let them be Looney Tunes.
And they did.
The movie entertains a lot, mostly because it keeps throwing those comedy skits at you and somehow manages to make the animated characters feel like they genuinely occupy the same space as the actors.
That is much harder to pull off than it looks.
Forget Best Animated Feature.
If this does not at least get serious consideration for Best Visual Effects, somebody was not paying attention.
Silly story.
Excellent craft.
And, most importantly, a lot of fun.

the gags are great, even if the 3d animation feels out of place with the real world environments and actors at times. bugs bunny looked the best, and his entire The Cowboy from mulholland drive that eats and puts out carrots like cigarettes bit had me rolling.
I really wanted to like this movie. I just feel like we have enough corporate greed in real life—do we need that in a Looney Tunes movie? I was expecting fun and got a corporate courtroom drama instead.
Finally, justice for Wile E. Coyote.. my childhood is healed!
A surprisingly well done, extremely proworker movie. There's little wonder why WB decided defrauding the American tax payer was preferable to releasing this.
It also understands the formula for the originals quite well.
Soundtrack is also impeccable.
Expected a silly popcorn flick; got a slapstick masterclass instead. Coyote vs. Acme takes a simple story and delivers many laughs, with Wile E. Coyote completely stealing the show. His hilarious mix of silent expressiveness, inflated ego, and unshakeable persistence pays off in comedic gold. Packed with classic Loony Tunes gags, this is an absolute must-watch on the big screen. I hope they release a Blu-Ray of this eventually.
This was a great merge of live action and animation. As someone who grew up in the '70s and '80s, these cartoons were extremely nostalgic. I loved all the little easter eggs from the Looney Tunes cartoons. This also ended up being a very nice movie about friendship.
I don’t know if everyone is going to love this as much as I did, but as someone who grew up on the Looney Tunes, I feel like this one was made especially for me. They threw in literally every character from the vault. This will be an instant rewatch for me.
Great flick. Shame it didn’t get the love and attention it deserved.
Kinda brought backsome old childhood memories of watching these toons on Sat morning before the parents got up eating a bowl of cereal.
Good. Gen X'ers will appreciate it most. It has sink very clever moments.
I was honestly pleasantly surprised by this.. Nowadays, so much of what comes out of Hollywood feels like mindless, over-CGIed garbage, but this movie was actually a breath of fresh air.
It almost felt like watching a movie from the ’90s again, when movies were made to simply be entertaining and fun. I barely saw any promotion for this one—I just happened to see it in the listings, decided to give it a shot, and I'm glad I did.
Great movie and definitely better than I expected. In my opinion, it's better than most of the overproduced CGI-heavy stuff Hollywood keeps putting out nowadays. If you're looking for something entertaining that has a bit of that old-school movie feel, give Coyote vs Acme a chance.

2d agoThis was a great merge of live action and animation. As someone who grew up in the '70s and '80s, these cartoons were extremely nostalgic. I loved all the little easter eggs from the Looney Tunes cartoons. This also ended up being a very nice movie about friendship.
