It was going fine until a horribly placed and very stupid montage segment that was so unfunny it derailed all the fun momentum the flick had going. And then it turned into an episode of Ultraman mixed with Godzilla elements.

In the quiet seaside town of Mendocino, California, people are having their faces eaten off by horseshoe crabs that were irradiated by the collapse of a nuclear plant.
