Cannot believe how stoked me and my mate were about this when it came out, and then I watched it again now and feel near laughable cringe at most scenes. Cars are still cool, but the rest of the movie...sheesh. Eccleston still steals the show, though.

The story quickly stretches believability, and the characters never develop much beyond their basic motivations. The main plot boils down to one brother trying to save another by stealing a lot of cars. The film delivers plenty of action and features an impressive collection of vehicles. Unfortunately, I never became invested in the characters, and the on-screen excitement didn't give me much reason to care about the outcome.

The story was believable and has probobly the greatest cast ever for this type of movie including 3 academy award winners nicolas cage, robert duvall and the very hot anjolina jolie. other than the lame stunt at the end this is a perfect blend of action comedy and drama.

- ZokkiieJune 21, 2025This movie is fun if you like fast cars and action. Nicolas Cage is cool as a retired car thief who has to steal 50 cars in one night to save his brother. The story isn’t super deep, but the car chases are exciting, especially the one with the Mustang “Eleanor.” Some characters feel flat, and the dialogue can be cheesy, but it’s still entertaining. Not amazing, but not bad either — a decent watch if you're in the mood for something fast and loud.
