- jasmineJune 15, 2026I personally love heathers so this may be biased, compared to the musical the story is very different yet its so good. It makes you actually want to hate jd plus his character definitely has a lot of depth. Though personally i would watch the musical first then the movie as it has more context and is less ‘over’ the place. Jason in the movie is meant to be hated and is a pyshcopath while in the musical he is more ‘understandable’ and justified. I personally think he is more sociopathic. Definitely a must watch if you like heather the musical!:)
