- cloudsrivalMarch 17, 2026Great premise, but poor execution. The writers failed to continue building on the tense atmosphere established in the first 15 minutes. Reveal was lackluster in execution, and the ending felt very forced. It wasn't bad as an indie film, and the CGI FX very pretty creepy when not overused. I thought the main conveyance of the tongue was very overused and pretty stupid, and the overuse of animalistic noises became annoying. The ending made very little sense and dropped the movie down a full star.
