Dustin Hoffman's philosophising as well as Schwartzman's & Wahlberg's environmentalism, that shit changed me when I was 16. Especially the scene almost exactly an hour in, where Dustin's character is arguing with Mark about the cracks & connections. "If you look close enough, you can't tell where my nose ends & space begins." Like, this film literally changed the path of my life.
