The performances are really realistic & solid from our lead character Jennifer Hills. The villains are beyond detestable and at least we do get that satisfaction of her killing them in really torturous & brutal ways. It may not be a very rewatchable & digestible movie, but it is one of those films that you never ever forget and is one that easily stays with you. It did exactly what it set out to do and that was to be very impactful, disturbing, effective & messed up....and I Spit On Your Grave does all of that in spades.
