- Zokkiie1d agoYou know a movie is mediocre at best when it feels like it’s taking every opportunity to show off some skin with weird camera angles instead of putting more effort into the actual story. The underwater scenes are definitely the highlight, with some good visuals and a cool setting that gives the movie some personality. The cast is alright too, but they’re working with pretty average material. The biggest issue is that the story never really comes together. It feels messy, the pacing is uneven, and some parts just drag without much happening. There are a few entertaining moments, especially with the diving and adventure side, but it never reaches the level it could have. A movie with a decent idea that ends up feeling pretty forgettable.
