There are some good scary moments, but the tension is less than in the first film, and the terror isn't as intense. The acting is good, but the script is sometimes repetitive. An entertaining experience for fans of the series, but less impactful and less frightening. It continues the story of the confrontation with Pennywise after the heroes have grown up.

Bowers should have been developed more as a psychological threat instead of only spraying in a couple of scenes acting like a zombie, and it was a lost chance for an interesting redemption arc. I wonder if the running joke about bad endings was meant for Stephen King...
