- JeremiahMay 5, 2026This movie doesn't hit when you see it as a kid (which i did), mostly cause it all goes over your head, but as an adult… wow. It’s existential, whimsical, dry, hilarious, sweet, meaningful, silly, weird, deep, amusing, hard hitting, bizarre and more. Meg Ryan is amazing here doing 3 roles, each totally unique and 1 of which is super hilarious. Tom Hanks is doing his Tom Hanks thing but it works quite well particularly in this role. Dare i say this is a masterpiece that i never knew of. The ending is a bit safe. But it’s sweet too.
