An amazing performance from Eva Spadaro as the insane lead. True her eyebrows come and go and her hair changes shot by shot but she is very convincing. I was not expecting her to end well but I wanted her too. The film requires some patience. It starts with a car chase edited with a flashback told by Lisa as she’s driving for her life. You may be tempted to quit because this isn’t clear wtf is happing until a few scenes later. It’s avant garde and maybe a bit too smart for it’s own good at times. But it’s also sincerely trying to be a Poe spooky house story and mostly succeeds. Sleazy sex and comic violence helps this get into the giallo category. The scooby-doo nonsense at the end is fun. Also a crazed drug-addled lunatic rich guy creating self-driving cars is quite an accurate prediction of Musk.
