It is a must watch, even more so if you have never watched the TV show…it may pique your interest to give the show a chance. Overall the actors were right on point and casted quite well.

Altman’s signature overlapping dialogue gives the film a raw, improvisational energy. Some of its treatment of women hasn’t aged well; what once felt edgy now plays as mean-spirited. Still, despite those moments, it remains a sharp and influential film worth watching.
