- JAMES LOSTJune 3, 2026I gave it this rating because I spent the entire film laughing at the sheer absurdity of practically every aspect of it. The camera work was really really bad. You can tell movements are being corrected mid-scene; bad framing. A lot of it is out of focus too. Weird unnecessary awkward silences. Voices from nowhere. Or the long-winded conversations that wander off. They tried to make the stock music follow along with the scenes: unbearable. Same goes for the CGI; the spacecraft are separate models, so they don’t blend with the footage at all. And then. Oh, the absolutely terrible acting. No, this is a film you really should watch. Stay safe.
- DanzJune 18, 2026I actually had to ask AI why this movie was trending at all, and it was due to the nostalgia. I remember the cartoon but had no idea at all this was related to He-Man. We got 10 minutes in and not even the kids wanted to watch it, instead opting to go straight to bed and trust me - that NEVER happens. With that context I just gave it another shot, a week later, and it was actually worse. Mario, Sonic, TMNT, and MK among others gave me that nostalgic feeling, so i can understand, i guess, if its your childhood hero - but this crowd butchered it...
