I gave the whole cast and crew 1/2 a Star to share amongst themselves.
You know how some Movies are SO BAD that they become cult Movies, like that Movie - The Room?
To borrow a catch phrase from Kingsman: The Secret Service….‘THIS AIN’T THAT KIND OF MOVIE’
This movie changed my life. I went in with zero expectations and by the end credits dance scene I was already moved to tears by the message of this masterpiece.
Although Frank Miller was inspired by the classic movie, The 300 Spartans, he went to Greece and researched his comix on location before dealing the movies that provided fodder for this trope spoof, so it’s still a movie spoofing a movie adapting a comix inspired by a movie taken from Ancient History, a bit contrived, so why did I give it 5/5? They’ singin’. They’ dancin’. They clownin’. You love it. It’s that simple. The show must go on. My favorite non sequitur is anachronism but I don’t complain when I see naked people. Tragedy literally means goat song. Ultra post modern Americanisms abound, for those who can tolerate a nouveau decadent nonsensical apathy motif.
