I would cite it as one of my favourite films. A century later it can still entertain the broadest of audiences. It provides explicit and subtle commentary on topics that are still core to our existence. Only the best of Pixar get close to such an achievement. The fight and determination of the Gamin wells me up every time. I love it.

Beautiful script, and beautiful acting. This is a feel-good movie that you can watch with almost anyone.

An enjoyable watch, whilst dated. A simple to follow story of day to day struggles, that probably resonate still, in more Modern Times. Considering the film was languishing behind, even when released, it offers a slapstick comedy that still raises a smile, and a sadness that elicits empathy… whilst barely a word is spoken.

Surprising that a nearly 100-year-old film can have humor that still holds up today.
