I really enjoyed this movie. I only knew very little before watching and it was really when I was discovering more into Sam Rockwell that made me see it. I didn't have high expectations and was pleasantly surprised.

A decent movie that I feel slipped under the radar during its release. It feels very 2001: A Space Odyssey inspired but with a modern twist and the loose ends tied of a little better. Whether that's a good or a bad thing is up to the viewer. Definitely worth a watch for anyone into Sci-Fi, Horror and mystery

    Best epsiode of BlackMirror yet!

A very neat narrative premise that only presents itself with extremely frustrating dialogue and characters for most of the film.

A brilliant allegory for the modern employee. No matter how much your company claims to care about you, they do not.

Maybe I was just overly empathetic while watching it, but it moved me a lot. For some reason it reminded me of the feeling of anguish in 2001: A Space Odyssey. It contains both extremely current themes and eternal topics. Great film, absolutely recommended.

Interesting plot just wish there was more to it. An uprising perhaps?

Another Rockwellian adventure! If you love his work you'll love this scifi twister...

Had a desire to re-watch this after seeing another movie 🤐 recently that has a sort of similar premise even if they are very different movies. I love Sam Rockwell especially when he gets to play a bit of a lunatic. His performance/s here are really excellent as he does a really good making the different versions of his character distinct from one another. The films takes aim at capitalism, greed and the devaluing of human life. Love these kind of sci-fi stories. Of the Duncan Jones films that I’ve seen, this is easily my favorite. But this has me interested in checking out Mute which I skipped not knowing it was a sequel-ish to this. 🤷🏻‍♂️ We’ll see how that goes. I really enjoyed this though. Recommend if you haven’t seen it.

I generally enjoy media which explores how we define ourselves, and Moon is no exception. Rockwell's performance is exceptional, and his performance is the *entire* movie. The film is well paced, smartly edited, and tells and interesting story. Clint Mansell provides the score, which surprisingly, I never noticed (for better or worse). Sort of 2001: A Space Odyssey, sort of Alien, sort of Brazil. The feeling of being a disposable cog in a larger machine is pervasive in the modern world, and Moon explores that feeling with a sharp narrative to great effect.

It's not the sci-fi that gets you, it's the games it plays with your mind.

"Moon" is sci-fi movie that doesn't rely on mindless action and exploding sets. instead it's intelligent fare with a story that raises all kinds of moral question.
