The film sets the stage for what promises to be an intense cat-and-mouse game with apocalyptic stakes, but unfortunately, it falls short of delivering on its premise. Jessica's character, while acted competently by Erin, often feels too passive. There are moments where Erin shines, showing the potential for a more dynamic character, but these moments are too few and far between. The film's pacing seems rushed, and as a result, not enough significant events unfold to keep the audience fully engaged. It is bizarre to say that a flick feels rushed when so little happens but that is just how it felt. One of the more intriguing elements of the film is the character Elsa, the officer pursuing Jessica, played by Sonya Walger. The twist of the officer being afflicted with ALS adds an interesting layer to the hunt, offering a unique and humanizing perspective on the relentless pursuit. Despite these promising aspects, the movie leans more towards being a pandemic thriller than a true horror film. The tension and atmosphere that typically define the horror genre are lacking, which may leave horror enthusiasts wanting more as I did. It has some compelling ideas and performances but doesn't quite manage to execute them effectively. The film's potential is hampered by its rushed pacing and underdeveloped plot, resulting in a thriller that feels more like a missed opportunity than a must-watch.

Not going to lie, the genuine decency of people when it counts is freaking inspiring, especially in these unsure days we live in. Finally getting flashbacks, I do want to know what got us here, but I'm feeling sad for the main character and her mental well-being. Our pursuing character is very personable, and they allow her to have emotions and her own problems that she must deal with. The virulence of our problem in this film is terrifying, and this is something unheard of in the problem description up to now. You won't believe the incriminating facor in this film, that concern each and every one of us right NOW TODAY.
