It's kind to the source materials but adds a layer of depth and gloss that really works to remaster the experience.
- Pascal BollierDecember 26, 2025may be if you can watch this in german it would be slightly better. in english, it may be one of the worst movies i've ever seen. how is this possible? bruno ganz, klaus kinksi, isabelle adjani, werner herzog....these names promise something worthwhile. the story is a mixture between fritz murnaus famous nosferatu silent film and stokers dracula. sounds intriguing, especially with the above mentioned names involved, right? oh boy are you in for a bad surprise. it is so, so boring and bland. i mean i found myself wanting to revisit dario argentos 2012 dracula and thats saying a lot. the irony is, i came here after watching argentos dracula with the hope to watch something that would wash away the stink of that movie!!! out of the frying pan and into the fire doesn't even come close. i'd actually be interested in finding out if i am alone with this opinion or not.....
