Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood visits 1969 Los Angeles, where everything is changing, as TV star Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt) make their way around an industry they hardly recognize anymore. The ninth film from the writer-director features a large ensemble cast and multiple storylines in a tribute to the final moments of Hollywood's golden age.

Bizzarely based on the Tate-Labianca murders, yet concludes that plot line with a different ending. Lot's of stars and lots of other stars playing vintage stars in their youth. It's kinda confusing and not the best Tarenteno movie. I think there's a lot of class allegory and Hollywood status criticism, but it falls kinda flat. It's making celebrities while subliminally slagging on the very industry and culture it's profiting from. It's like a recursive bitch slap to the film industry. Does that make good entertainment? Meh....

I am they type of person that NEEDS to finish every movie I start. I watch darn near everything in 1 sitting, including the entire 5 movie series Planey of the Apes from the 70's. I am currenly unemployed... I have 1h41m left and I will NEVER finish this movie. Endless exposition, character introductions, and short stories that go NOWHERE. I was born in 1990. You might like this movie if you were born in the 50's or 60's or something.

Really good acting and character work but honestly I didn't get the hype. It was good....just not that good. Ending was alot of fun tho

Watched the first half on an iPad and the second half in 4K on the big screen….you know, as intended Just an excess number of driving shots. Hope Quentin learned his lesson from Kill Bill and isn’t putting actors or stuntmen at risk of death anymore! And ugh the foot shots man….get a fucking grip on yourself Truly cannot get over how much Polanski looks like Austin Powers at the party Did love the Kate Berlant part! Dakota Fanning, Harley Quinn Smith, Victoria Pedretti, Maya Hawke, Margaret Qualley, Sydney Sweeney, and Mikey Madison all being part of the cult is as insane as the cult itself. Oh, and Austin Butler Also, Mikey getting burnt alive in a film twice in a couple of years will never not be funny as hell I’ve really gotta start trusting drunk Dylan more. His opinions are valid!

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is a film for film lovers. It is an ode to the old Hollywood and Quentin's finest work. It takes its time, doesn't rush, marinades in nostalgia and it perfected late 60s atmosphere and builds up to one of the most unforgettable endings of all time. People who only see films as a "fun-evening-filler" probably won't like it but any moviebuff will smile cheek to cheek from beginning to end.

There are some flaws, but DiCaprio has a certain charm that makes this such an interesting film, plus some fun humor and an interesting ending/take on tragic real events.

It's fun but not as great as advertised, but it's definitely worth a watch. It is like most of the director's movies in that it has no real direction in the story, aimless, a little pointless. The casts performance is wonderful

AMAZING. The DiCaprio-Pitt duo is far my favourite duo. One of my favourite movies
