Dark, funny, tragic, Our Hero Balthazar is a unique and engaging watch. Thanks primarily to its two psychopath leads and its topical premise. Lots of commentary on current politics, incels the man sphere and internet culture overall. Well shot with great sound throughout. While it’s a little heavy handed with its presentation, and the messaging in the end a bit muddled, overall it’s effective. Past all these heady topics I can’t emphasize enough how funny it is. Not too many movies would have the balls to have a running joke about Randy Stair but it’s here! Jaeden Martell actually has so many iconic lines that had me completely losing it. Great watch!
