This was a strange production. The film is a low-budget movie that wants to be a blockbuster. But it falls short on both counts and crashes hard. The script is unfocused and clichéd, but what takes me completely out of the film is the score. The music sounds like a wannabe John Williams clone, and it doesn’t fit the movie. The music screams mystery and Spielberg, while the visuals scream low budget and cheap cameras. The whole thing is just… off.
Really liked the thread of the story, from start to finish; thoughtfully scripted and executed.
