Where to Watch Relationship Goals
- BigRettFebruary 5, 2026Relationship Goals is a hollow, low effort romcom that feels more like background content than an actual film. From the opening scenes, it’s clear this is a movie running on fumes....recycled plot beats, flat dialogue, and jokes that land with a thud. There’s nothing fresh here. No charm, no edge, no heart. Just a checklist of tired tropes stitched together and pushed out the door. What makes it genuinely disappointing is seeing Method Man attached to something this disposable. This is an artist who once carried undeniable presence. Someone who felt larger than life. Here, he’s reduced to coasting through a role that demands nothing and offers even less. You can feel the acting....which is never good. The film completely lacks ambition. Watching someone who used to be the man settle for material this thin is the real letdown. Kelly Rowland fares no better. She’s perfectly fine, but the script gives her nothing beyond the most generic romcom archetype imaginable. No depth, no spark, no reason to invest emotionally in the relationship the movie insists we root for. In the end, Relationship Goals doesn’t just miss the mark. It never aims high enough to matter. It’s bland, forgettable, and painfully safe, wasting its cast and offering nothing worth revisiting. For a movie about relationships, it has shockingly little connection to its audience. Skip it!
