While not a great movie, by any stretch of the imagination, it holds a little place in my heart, as I grew up watching this multiple times on cable. I was surprised how many lines I remembered and since of the nuances of the characters. Bronson Pinchot was really goofy and funny. I would have liked to have seen him in a few more comedies in a leading role, part of a duo, but he got that gig as Balky Bartolamew on Perfect Strangers. I wonder if that show really set him up for life as well as the other dude. What was his name, Lynn? Anyhow, John Larroquette was humorous but I just couldn't buy him as a hardened ex-cop and he was painfully taller than everyone else in the cast. Stuart Pankin was always fun. Dumb movie, but it was supposed to be. I laughed out loud a few times, a few funny things that flew over my head as a kid. Probably holds some nostalgia for me, so I'm a little biased.
