Probably my favorite Mark Wahlberg movie. As soon as the action kicks in, the suspense and tension never let up. Lots of great scenes, details and performances. Also Kate Mara at the height of her beauty is rather easy on the eye ;)

Love anything with Mark Wahlberg in it and Shooter is no exception. That said, after his character gets established you will have a lot of fun once you can stop asking questions, no matter how much reason to ask you're given if you're anything like me or someone in the movie. Also enjoyed seeing familiar faces like Danny Glover, Michael Peña, and Kate Mara, among others.

Still love to pretend there are specialists out there who can actually be this good. I am a fan of most Mark Wahlberg movies and this is absolutely no exception.
This is one of the best action movies of the 2000s, no question. It’s tight, intense, and keeps the momentum going from start to finish. Wahlberg nails the role, and the mix of sharp shooting, chase scenes, and conspiracy drama makes it endlessly entertaining. Not perfect, but absolutely a blast to watch.
Classic Wahlberg action thriller. Definitely one of his better films along with Contraband and The Italian Job remake.
MW fits the bill nicely as a spec ops sniper, oodles of conspiracy and believable action sequences.
A movie that knows exactly what it is: a high-velocity revenge fantasy where the good guy is always three steps ahead and the bad guys are always one monologue too late.
Suspension of disbelief is a little dicey. But if you buy in, it's a pretty rad dude versus system shoot 'em up. Pena and Mara were good adds.
well....why is this so much fun? it is stupid and non-sensical. i mean the set-up is kinda cool but afterwards, the set pieces are so stupid, it borders on the absurd. and yet....it's fun!
