- barryl36January 7, 2026I attended N.M.M.I. just 42 years following this film which was during the centennial year. The cavalry was still there when I attended but it was much smaller. The uniforms were a previous version. The locations and alma mater bring up some nostalgia. The campus of my day looked more similar to this time than today's campus. Those were some of the toughest and most rewarding years of my life. The film succeeded in combining corp life with the western genre.
