Split Second is a bit of a lost gem. Yes, it's cheesy, but purposely so. The script has plenty of laugh out loud moments from some very familiar faces and the monster is tip top.

All-over-the-place 80s buddy / alien creature movie trying to be a little like Bladerunner but without the great cinematography. Sort of turned into an action comedy towards the end. Just no.

My quick rating - 5,8/10. In a flooded future London, Detective Harley Stone (Rutger Hauer) hunts a serial killer who murdered his partner and has haunted him ever since. He soon discovers what he is hunting might not be human. Still not bad after all these years. Kind of a "Predator" type flick for lack of a whole synopsis. Big evil alien being hunted by the psycho cop below.
