Good effects, exciting action and interesting settings. Haven't watched any other versions so didn't connect with characters that much.
A really fun movie to watch and rematch. Enough story to hold it together and make it enjoyable.

The plot is simple, the villain’s a bit forgettable, but the cast chemistry and solid action make up for it. Spock and Bones have some great moments, and the movie moves at a fun pace. Nothing groundbreaking, but definitely an enjoyable ride.
As a Star Trek fan, I enjoyed that they added back the playful interaction between members of the crew.
In my opinion, out of all 3 of the latest Star Trek movies in the series, this one lacked the luster of the previous 2.
A return to form of the first movie by being way better than the second movie. Fun character interactions throughout and good action.
Good Star Trek movie, fast entertaining, good cast, not woke.
