It's about a florist who goes on a murder spree, and while the cops try to stop him, an aspiring musician finds his life deeply intertwined with that of the killer. Exquisitely funky and cleverly satirical, Strangler vs. Strangler is cinematic horror at its most punk rock. Its deadpan sense of humor serves the story extraordinarily well, never detracting any seriousness from the way the film studies and deconstructs the very concept of misogyny. It's a hysterical, intelligent explosion of genres that should be sought out by all those who love horror comedies.
