Where to Watch Terminator: Dark Fate
- I watched this movie and was wondering how it fits into the events of Genisys. I know most people did not appreciate that one or Salvation, but if you like movies about alternate timelines, this series provide so much of it, the result together makes fans appreciate viewing them for the different perspective on how the story start and finish.
- Not terrible, but loaded with stupid ass decisions. Linda Hamilton is great and the action hits hard, but the story keeps tripping over itself. It wants to feel like a fresh start, yet ends up rehashing old ground with less impact. There are flashes of what made Terminator great, but mostly it just reminds you how far the series has fallen.
- I can't tell if I'm giving this a decent rating relative to the terrible attempts that preceded it or because it's genuinely passable. Either way, the action is visually pleasing and the antagonist has a relentless feel that works. There are moments that might bring an eye-roll but there is a feel that this was an enjoyable project for the guys involved and that makes it an easy watch for a couple of hours.
- Great film. Great cast. Great action. Great effects, especially the entire plane scene. Overall another great Terminator film. Awesome to see Linda Hamilton back. The story made sense, don't listen to those that say otherwise, and making this movie was worth it (don't listen to James Cameron). Most people just don't understand you need the willful suspension of disbelief to enjoy any film and a desire to understand when you are confused. If you don't have it, then stop watching everything. Terminator films are about one thing, changing the future from the past. Tired of it? Stop watching them and complaining about it. One of my favorite T films and a great way to put this to an end. Maybe it's not for you, but that doesn't make it a bad film. Watch and enjoy my friends. :)
- This story is tiresome to say the least. I loved Linda Hamilton & Arnold was as Arnold as ever. The acting was good. Mackenzie Davis was fantastic and I would've liked more on her story, but at the same time... I didn't care about this movie. A lot of action, same story over & over & over! Never kept my interest. Honestly I couldn't wait for it to end so I could leave. How did James Cameron put his name on this?
- Linda Hamilton was at her peak with T1 and T2, her character was a strong female who was written so well in those films. This one though was written by someone who had no idea what they were doing. They are killing the franchise with trash like this. I wouldn’t bother, you will get more enjoyment rewatching the OG’s.
