Zane (Charlie Sheen), a young, mild-mannered astronomer discovers an extraterrestrial radio signal. After being fired from his organization for reporting this to his superior, he takes a chance on discovering the truth: that his workplace is not quite what it seems to be and a sinister conspiracy is at work. The aliens are keeping a deadly secret, and will stop at nothing to prevent Zane from learning it.
I liked the plot, the special effects, the concept and the creatures. I didn’t care so much for Charlie Sheen’s acting.
this is a charlie sheen movie. he is in almost every scene. he is just so very likeable and has an awesome screen presence. yes, the effects have not aged that well, the story is not very creative (including the twists) but still....there's a certain 90's charm to it. Worth watching
This is an overused story of the overly smart, but misunderstood guy, who uncovers the thing that nobody else was able to notice, in a way that's completely unbelievable. I still find it entertaining, but not to the point that I would recommend anyone else actually watch it. If you like one of the actors in here, or if you like Alien invasion movies, give it a chance and you might like it. Otherwise, I'll predict that you will not like it.

September 21, 2025this is a charlie sheen movie. he is in almost every scene. he is just so very likeable and has an awesome screen presence. yes, the effects have not aged that well, the story is not very creative (including the twists) but still....there's a certain 90's charm to it. Worth watching
