- FranBizJuly 24, 2025This movie has multiple titles ( The Houses October Built 2, The Blue Skeleton, HellBent, etc). This movie is a little different from the first film. The first film was a found footage type movie, but in this movie, it's like a hybrid movie using found footage, drone footage, and parts of the movie shot like an actual movie (similar to Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin). As far as the story, it picks up right where the last movie left off. The plot, well, it's pretty much the same movie again, but with a bigger budget. The group has gained fame due to the events of the prior film, and they seek out extreme haunted houses. Overall, I think the movie is okay. It felt longer, mainly because the road trip felt like the group was on vacation. The best part of the movie, in my opinion, would be in the last 20 minutes of the film. It's a good movie, but it takes a while for the real plot to kick in.
- NiztradamusNovember 30, 2025Still pretty good but honestly it's just the same thing again as the first one. The ending is a nice touch. If you liked the first and are hungry for more there is plenty to be had here. If the first one left you satisfied to the point you don't want more or didn't pickle your fancy, you might as well skip this one. One thing to note is that it deviates from the found footage perspektive. While there is still plenty of the movie in this style, there are some more classical camera angles mixed in.
