This movie elevates my favorite tv family and created a solid movie to fall asleep to (not because it’s boring, but because I’ve watched it 100s of times) The music, the vibes, everything about it is perfect for any young kid, millennial needing safe parents to look up to, or neurospicy people. This is a must watch
- angeltreadJune 13, 2026Not sure the story justified its big screen debut although the stakes were fairly high at times. We have seen the gang in in pretty serious danger before though. What was worth is the crazy good animation and lighting and shadow work that the tv show just never achieves. I wanted to love this more since I love the show so much. Songs were forgettable unfortunately, doesn't help that I'm watching Central Park, a Bobs Burgers sister show on AppleTV that is a musical and has amazing memorable songs every single episode that has actors that can also really sing well too. I'd take more movies though, since this one was basically a Louise movie I will take 4 others where it focuses one on each family member. I liked this cause I love the characters, but for an official movie outing they shoulda brought more heat storywise.
- Daniel GustavssonOctober 11, 2024This really was nothing like the show at all. All people that say that this was just a longer episode: have you ever even seen the show? This was extremely different, and very clearly approached from another angle. Well sadly, that angle did not work. The movie is awful and I highly recommend to people that actually care about the show to avoid this. I wish someone had told me that.
