Agnes Brown, a haughty heiress, buys it, however, and the milliner makes a duplicate, to wear, while the other is sent to the wrong house. She is accused of theft, and it is in the extrication of the poor girl from her troubles by Jack Barlow, a wealthy young lawyer, engaged to Agnes that the romance develops. It is the story of a rich girl who loses her sweetheart by her disdainfulness and conceit.
