A chilling look at political theater. ⚖️📺 The documentary deserves credit for using raw, un-exaggerated archival footage. While I completely reject Hitler and Nazi ideology, this documentary highlights how the trial of Adolf Eichmann felt less like a pursuit of legal discovery and more like a calculated political statement. Israel clearly used the massive media presence to remind the world of the horrors of the Holocaust and project an image of absolute global justice, especially since the final verdict was a foregone conclusion. One thing that really stands out in the footage is how chillingly relaxed Eichmann looks. He answers questions with so much confidence, and you can't see a single speck of fear in his eyes. Looking at it today, the irony is massive when you compare the past to how modern leadership treats Palestinians. It really makes you wonder if we will ever see current leaders face this kind of international tribunal. As for the documentary itself, it’s well made because it uses strictly real footage without over-dramatizing anything, even if the actual event was pure political theater.
